Episode 8 - Tips for New Agents with Jason Denniston

This is for all my agents out there that are newer to the industry.  In this episode I interview Jason Denniston of Denniston Insurance.  Jason focuses mainly on Life and Health insurance in his agency and has learned a ton over the past 2 years.

 

Jason was employed in the Church industry for 18 years and had JUST gotten his insurance license to be able to sell insurance and found out shortly after, that his position at the church was being eliminated.

 

Welcome to Episode 8

 

Whoa!…  Single income household and the income is gone.  With his insurance license in hand he set out to provide for his family in a brand new field and here we are 2 years later.

He’s been through the ups and down, the highs and lows and he is here to share them all with you.

 

My 2 biggest takeaways from this interview are:

 

  • The more money you have saved when starting out in the insurance industry, the better.
  • The ability to sell solves a lot of issues that you might have when starting out.
